Pastor Steve and his family started Discovery Family Church in 2007. He attended seminary school at St Louis Christian College. His hobbies include his kids' sports, hunting, fishing, Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey.

The DFC Band is a contemporary Christian rock band that leads us in worship every Sunday. The songs performed are the same songs you listen to and enjoy on 99.1 Joy FM. Some of the songs they perform are from artists like Mercy Me, Crowder, NeedToBreathe, Casting Crowns, Plumb and many others.
