Financial Peace University teaches you how to dump debt, save for the future, and build a monthly budget.

The Love and Logic program teaches effective parenting skills, reduces stress of parenting, and allows you to have fun with your children.

Do you have questions about Jesus? Questions like, "Who is He and Why does He care about me?" Or, "What's the point of knowing Him?" Maybe you want to know how to have a relationship with Him. These are great questions!  We offer classes for you called Foundations and Discovery 101. 

Discovery Family Church has many areas where members can serve. These areas include our leadership team, children's ministry, ushers, greeters, audio visual, band, and connection booth.

Our Adult Groups include Celebrate Recovery, Men's Group, the Women's Brunch, and Bible Study groups.  These groups meet on either a weekly or monthly basis.

We also have courses like Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and our Love and Logic program. These courses are typically conducted one to two times per year. Please check our calendar for the next meeting.

Each Sunday at 10AM, in the Discovery Kids Zone, we offer high-energy, age-appropriate programs that consist of songs, games, and creative teaching designed for children ages infant through sixth grade.

Designed for parents and kids
The children’s classes meet at the same time as the adult service. So while you are experiencing the life-changing worship at Discovery Family Church (DFC), your children are experiencing it as well.

Safety
DFC strives to provide a safe, fun place for your child to learn about God at the weekend service.

Here are some of the steps we take:

• We conduct background checks on all volunteers who work with children.
• We use a check-in process for the children and adults to ensure that only an authorized person is picking up the child.
• Rooms are staffed with volunteers and assistants.
• Classrooms are open to viewing at anytime by a parent.
• We ensure that all rooms and bathrooms are clean and sanitary.

Join with other youth for fellowship, and learn and grow together in your walk with God. Open to students in the 7th through 12th grade age group.

A safe, supervised environment
It’s a safe, fun environment for the older kids to learn about how to apply the Bible to life as they meet together during a weekly supervised and guided social time.

A good way to spend Sunday evenings
Student Ministry meets most Sundays from 5:30PM until 7:30PM here at the church in the large room on the south end of the building.

Is God calling you to serve? Discovery Family Church has several opportunities for you to serve. The goal of our missions is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to provide hope and compassion to members of our community as well as people around the world.

Service Opportunities - Members of Discovery Family Church are eager to assist our community with small projects. These projects typically include moving, yard work, painting, carpentry and fund-raising activities.

Homeless Patrol - Members of Discovery Family Church serve the homeless community by delivering meals and clothing. Areas served include the greater Saint Louis metropolitan area.

Food Pantry - Members of Discovery Family Church serve at the Collinsville Food Pantry on a regular basis. The pantry always has a need for volunteers to assist patrons while they shop. There is also a need for volunteers to sort food items and stock shelves. The pantry is open every Tuesday and Friday to serve our local community. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Friday.

Soup Kitchen - Once every two months, members of Discovery Family Church partner with other churches and the Collinsville Food Pantry to provide a hot meal for anyone in need. Serving at the soup kitchen is a great way to meet and serve members of our community.
